The Authored Life™ is run by me, Cynthia Wright, through Cynthia Wright Consulting in White Rock, British Columbia, Canada. This page explains what personal information I collect through this website and The Authored Life Quiz, what I do with it, and how you can ask me to change or delete it.
What I collect
When you take the Quiz, I collect your first name, your email address and the answers you give.
When you use the contact form or email me, I collect your name, your email address and whatever you write in your message.
What I use it for
I use your Quiz answers to produce your result and send it to you. I may also send you a few follow-up emails about your result and about The Authored Life programme. If you ask to join the waiting list, I use your email address to tell you when dates are confirmed.
I also look at Quiz answers as a group to improve the questions.
I use contact messages only to reply to you.
I do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone for their own use.
Stopping the emails
You can stop my emails at any time by replying and saying so. I will take you off the list within ten business days.
Where it is kept
Quiz information is held in ScoreApp, the service that runs the Quiz. Emails are held in my Microsoft 365 business mailbox. Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to a Gmail account. The website is hosted by Bluehost. Some of these companies store information on servers outside Canada, where it is subject to local law.
How long I keep it
I keep your information only as long as I need it for the purposes above, and I delete it when you ask me to.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email cynthia@cynthiawright.ca and I will reply within 30 days.
